GGF Donates 25,000 Portions of Food

The Covid-19 pandemic currently hitting Indonesia has made many people unable to live properly. This can happen because there are still many people who work as daily workers. Obstructed work also hampers income. Previously, Great Giant Foods (GGF) had made a similar donation before Eid by distributing 25,000 portions of food. This second phase of the donation was carried out after Eid so that GGF had donated 50,000 portions of food.

GGF donated to 15 communities in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Cikarang. The communities are freelance workers and traders in Cipinang, workers and traders in Cempaka Putih, Kampung Bulak in Pondok Gede, S3 (Sedekah Seribu Hatu) in North Jakarta, Bina Insan Kamil in East Jakarta, Al-Madiniyah Nursing Home in Cengkareng, etc.

This activity was very well received by the community and society. The Al-Madiniyah Foundation said, “I would like to welcome and thank colleagues from the GGF Group who have provided lunch for our fostered elderly grandmothers”.

This assistance was given directly by colleagues from GGF to the community from house to house. Also, the implementation of this activity takes into account the applicable health protocols to maintain mutual safety.
