Re.juve Plants 2,500 Mangrove Seedlings Across Four Locations Through #GOODforEarth Campaign

As part of its ongoing Giving Back #GOODforEarth campaign, PT Sewu Segar Primatama, through its Re.juve brand, planted 2,500 mangrove seedlings in September 2023 across four locations: Tanjung Pasir in Tangerang, North Sulawesi, Bali, and Tegal.
Through its #GOODforEarth pillar, Re.juve aims to contribute to the protection and long-term sustainability of surrounding ecosystems. The mangrove conservation program reflects the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility while helping raise public awareness of the importance of protecting natural habitats.
The planting initiative was funded through donations collected during the Giving Back #GOODforEarth campaign, which ran from April 23 to May 26, 2022. During the campaign, Re.juve allocated IDR 1,000 from every 435 ml bottle sold at its outlets across Indonesia.
“We planted 750 mangrove seedlings in Tanjung Pasir, Tangerang, as part of the total 2,500 seedlings planted across four locations. Through #GOODforEarth, we hope to contribute to environmental conservation while creating a meaningful and enjoyable experience for everyone involved,” said Richard Anthony, then CEO and President Director of Re.juve.
Mangroves play an important role in coastal ecosystems. They help protect shorelines from erosion, provide habitats for marine life, support local food chains, absorb carbon dioxide, and contribute to climate resilience. Mangrove conservation can therefore generate environmental, social, and economic benefits for coastal communities.
Dinni Septianingrum, Chief Operating Officer of Seasoldier, said, “We hope this initiative inspires more people to care for the environment. Planting mangroves in four different locations also helps strengthen local awareness and community participation, while providing a model that can be adapted in other areas facing similar environmental challenges.”
According to an estimate shared by Seasoldier, the 2,500 mangrove seedlings could cover approximately one hectare and potentially absorb around 52.85 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, depending on local conditions, tree survival, and long-term growth.
“Although Re.juve continues to grow as a company, we remain committed to advancing our sustainability mission. We hope this initiative can encourage organizations of all sizes to play a role in protecting the environment,” Richard added.
Through #GOODforEarth, Re.juve continues to integrate environmental action into its broader commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles and a more sustainable future.
