Danrem 043/Gatam Visits PT Great Giant Pineapple (GGP)

Danrem 043/Garuda Hitam (Gatam) Brigadier General Iwan Ma’ruf Zainudin had the opportunity to visit the pineapple plantation company PT Great Giant Pineapple (PT GGP) located in Terbanggi Besar, Central Lampung, on Tuesday (20/6) with the aim of staying in touch and also saw directly the operational activities of managing the pineapple plantation and canning factory and met face to face with the company management.

Accompanied by the Head of Intel, Lt. Col. Arm. Agung Nugroho, Head of Operations, Colonel Inf. I Gede Setiawan, and Dandim 0411/Metro City Lt. Col. Inf. Sihono. Also participating in the gathering was the Head of Persit KCK Koorcab Rem 043 PD II/Swj Mrs. Ratna Iwan Ma’ruf, and Persit Management.

The TNI officials in Lampung were received by Corporate Affairs GGF Lampung Subdiv Head Hendri Tanujaya. Also welcoming, Cannery Manager Denny Kurniawan when the group of guests visited the pineapple processing factory at the Cannery.

I want PT GGP as a company that is a national asset to remain conducive and maintain security because its existence is of course very beneficial for society. He stated that PT GGP, as a state asset, must be supported and guarded by the TNI in its operations.

“With companies, of course the community’s economic cycle will also improve, because of the availability of job opportunities. “So the sustainability of the company must be maintained together,” said Iwan Ma’ruf during a casual talk which took place at the PT GGP Training Center.

Hendri Tanujaya welcomed and thanked Brigadier General TNI Iwan Ma’ruf Zainudin for taking the time to visit the company. He said that the TNI’s relationship with PT GGP was very close and harmonious because in carrying out the company’s operations, his party was fully supported by the TNI.
“On behalf of PT GGP, I would like to express my thanks to Danrem and the ranks, as well as to the TNI soldiers who were assigned to help us in operational work units,” said Hendri.
