Great Giant Foods (GGF) Lampung held an OHS seminar to close the 2025 National OHS Month, Tuesday (18/2). The event was held at the GGF Training Center Building and was attended by management and employees from various divisions.
Present as speakers at the OHS Seminar were I Ketut Ariyadi from the Lampung Provincial Manpower Office and Riana Septiana as a Lecturer at Tulang Bawang University.
This activity is the culmination of a series of activities that have been carried out throughout the National OHS Month, with the aim of increasing awareness and joint commitment to safety and health in the work environment.
In his remarks, SHE Manager Arief Fatullah, emphasized the importance of safety in the world of work, especially for companies engaged in manufacturing.
“Safety is not just an obligation, but a shared responsibility. The company is like a home for all workers. So let’s work together to create a safe and comfortable work environment. Every incident that occurs will not only have an impact on productivity, but will also have a big effect,” he explained.
Workers must continue to build a strong safety culture in every line of the company’s business units. Every time there is an incident, we must evaluate and find out the cause and take continuous corrective action, he further requested.
Great Giant Foods (GGF) Lampung routinely commemorates the National Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Month every year. In 2025, GGF will again hold the National K3 Month which will take place on January 12 – February 12, 2025 with the theme “Strengthening Human Resource Capacity in Supporting the Implementation of the K3 Management System (SMK3) to Increase Productivity”.
During this period, GGF held various activities to increase employee awareness and participation in K3 aspects, including the Clash of Champion Competition, K3 photo and slogan competition, Safety Riding Competition, Best Performance Audit SMK3, Best Safety Performance, and Blood Donation social action.
After the entire series of activities were completed, GGF officially closed the National K3 Month series which was also combined with the awarding of awards to the winners of the K3 competition.
With the closing of the 2025 National K3 Month, GGF reiterates that occupational safety and health are not just annual programs, but are an integral part of the company culture that must be continuously maintained and improved.
