GGF FC VS Bhayangkara FC Friendly Match, Mental and Physical Training

Great Giant Foods (GGF) with its GGF Football Club (FC) recently held an exhibition match with Bhayangkara FC at the Way Halim Youth Pledge Stadium, Bandar Lampung. The friendly match was held to coincide with Hero’s Day on November 10, 2021.

Each club fielded two teams each. GGF fielded GGF FC U-23 and GGF FC All Star, while the Lampung Police team fielded Bhayangkara FC and Cakra Lampung FC. GGF FC U-23 won the match with a score of 2-1 over Bhayangkara FC. Meanwhile, the GGF FC All Star team had to admit the superiority of Cakra Lampung FC with a score of 1-2.

As the GGF FC TIM Manager, Wiryo Saputra said he was happy to be able to take advantage of the Hero’s Day moment to establish friendship between GGF and the Lampung Police through football. “This is an initial capital for the players, both senior and junior at GGF FC to train mentally and physically to compete with professional clubs,” said Wiryo.

Wiryo said that the GGF FC team that competed that afternoon was the result of a month’s worth of selection and joint training. The composition of the selected players is still from local, namely prioritizing the children of employees, and workers in the GGF environment.

Wiryo hopes that in the future the GGF FC team can continue to increase the intensity and quality of training. So in the face of the next matches will be even better. It is known that the match that afternoon started or kick off at 16.00 WIB was quite exciting and entertaining.

“Even though GGF FC U-23 won with a final score of 2-1, we are still evaluating the players and coaches. This is because in fact the score can be more than that if the final settlement is maximized properly,” concluded Wiryo.
