Jakarta, 20 November 2023 – Great Giant Foods (GGF) took part in the HR Summit and Learning Development Festival 2023, held at Pullman Thamrin Hotel, Jakarta. The event brought together leading industry figures to discuss the future of human capital development. Representing GGF, President Director Tommy Wattimena and HRGA Director Rina Faqih were invited as speakers.

The panel discussion, moderated by Arry Ekananta, Coordinator of the CHRP Remuneration Block at Unika Atma Jaya, provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and knowledge exchange.

In his session, Tommy Wattimena presented “Leveraging: Human Resource Strategy as Company’s Competitive Advantage.” He highlighted how effective human resource strategies serve as a cornerstone of business competitiveness, drawing from GGF’s best practices to illustrate the role of people, culture, and leadership in achieving sustainable success.

Following the session, Rina Faqih delivered a presentation titled “What Will You Do as GGF CHRO.” She shared perspectives on the strategic decisions and initiatives carried out by GGF’s HR leadership, underlining the company’s strong commitment to nurturing talent, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving innovation through people development.
