Great Giant Foods (GGF) collaborated with the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) of East Lampung Regency and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of Lampung to hold a second vaccination for workers and the public in the operational environment of Plantation Group 4 (PG4) Labuhan Ratu on Wednesday, December 18, 2021.

The chairman of Apindo East Lampung, Afria Syahdi, said that for vaccinators, his party cooperated with the Bandar Lampung Health Police. He also appreciated the East Lampung Health Office and the Bandar Lampung Poltekes for supporting the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. “We provide a second vaccine of 1,500 doses for the PG 4 environment. Hopefully in the future the economy can recover and the community, especially in East Lampung, can immediately carry out their activities as before,” said Afria Syahdi.

GGF ERT Team Leader Arief Fathullah said the vaccine was carried out in an effort to accelerate vaccination for employees and the community around the company to form herd immunity or communal immunity so as to assist the government’s program in efforts to accelerate the national Covid-19 vaccination. “Hopefully this collaboration can be a joint effort to overcome the pandemic to return to normal life,” concluded Arief
