Mr. Asmono Wikan as Founder and CEO of PR Indonesia appreciated this year’s PRIA participants. He said that in its ninth year of implementation, PRIA received 699 works from 219 institutions. These works span various categories. “We see that the innovative public relations programs carried out by the participants are increasingly relevant to their needs and targets. “The winners are those who are able to show fresh ideas and dare to take the initiative to be more innovative and creative,” he said.

Asmono added, one aspect of the assessment that received serious attention from the judges was the structured communication strategy for the PR program. According to the jury, Mrs. Fardila Astari, this year’s participants generally succeeded in showing SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound) objectives that were connected to the problem, and then there was a solution to the problem.

Talking about the PRIA 2024 theme, “Communication that Inspires Civilization”, Asmono explained that communication is no longer just an activity to manage reputation. However, it must be able to encourage the creation of a strong national civilization.

Mr. Asmono then invited all PR practitioners present to work together to manage and maintain strategic communication activities so that they can contribute to the growth of a better national civilization over time.
