The Great Giant Foods (BMG) 2021 Quality Month activity was officially closed by the Managing Director of Great Giant Foods (GGF) Wayan Ardana at the GGF Training Center building virtually on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. BMG 2021 is the 14th event since it was first held in 2015. 2006. Implementation of the Quality Month competition includes various categories, namely SSK, AKK, BPR, Six Sigma (System, Automation / Digitization, Mechanization), 5R, and Employee Achievement.

Coming out as the overall winner in the 2021 BMG activity was the Factory Department, followed by Processed Pineapple Plant, and the third winner was Non Food. Via an online connection, Wayan Ardana, expressed his gratitude to the committee, judges, department heads, participants, and invited guests who have participated in the 2021 Great Giant Foods Quality Month event.

“Congratulations and thank you to the winners of the quality management competition at BMG, and to those who were not lucky enough to keep the spirit to make improvements. Thank you to the 122 participants who participated in this event, regardless of whether they won or not, the purpose of holding this activity is really our intention or initiative to make quality improvement, “said Wayan.

The implementation of a quality management system is very important and GGF has been implementing a quality system consistently and well for 25 years so that it can feel its impact on the company. Indirectly, the implementation of quality management is to increase the knowledge and skills of employees so that any problems encountered in their respective workplaces can be resolved with the participation of all employees, he added.

On that occasion, Wayan also said that currently PT Great Giant Pineapple (GGP) can pineapple has become the largest company in the world beating Dole and Delmonte. According to him, this achievement cannot be separated from the quality management factors that have been carried out so far in addition to other management policies.

“The quality management system is a strong foundation in the company, for that we must maintain it and BMG 2021 as a forum for the quality improvement process carried out by all employees and staff. Management will always fully support this quality improvement,” said Wayan at the same time officially closing the 2021 BMG activities.
