Lampung Tengah Regent, Receives Oxygen Cylinder Aid from PT GGP

Central Lampung Regent Musa Ahmad quickly tackled the handling of Covid-19, especially regarding oxygen supplies. Located at the Demang Se Island Raya Hospital, Regent Musa Ahmad received 100 oxygen cylinders from PT Great Giant Pineapple (GGP) on Thursday, July 9, 2021. The oxygen cylinder assistance greatly helped the local government, especially the Demang Se Island Raya Hospital so that Covid-19 patients can be handled properly.

In accordance with President Joko Widodo’s instructions, Regional Heads must quickly respond to oxygen supplies for Covid-19 patients in order to avoid oxygen scarcity. Regent Musa Ahmad also on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, checked the oxygen supply and preparation of the Covid-19 room at a private hospital in Central Lampung. The Regent was also advised to coordinate and work hand in hand with the government in tackling Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Central Lampung expressed his gratitude to several companies in Central Lampung who have helped the local government, especially in oxygen supply. So that in the future Central Lampung will not experience oxygen scarcity.

“Some hospitals lack oxygen supply when treating Covid-19 patients. This is why companies are called to help from a humanitarian perspective so that our relatives who are being treated receive treatment,” explained GGF Lampung’s Sub Division Head Corporate Affairs Hendri Tanujaya.

According to Hendri, it takes the cooperation of the Regional Government, Book Enforcement Officials, as well as the participation of the private sector so that the spread of Covid-19 in Central Lampung Regency can be suppressed as much as possible. The Regent also asked the public to always obey the health protocols and not to engage in crowd activities that could create new clusters.
