PT Great Giant Pineapple (PT GGP) Terbanggi Besar, Central Lampung, provided fresh fruit in the form of Crystal Guava at the National Istigosah event, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School in Banjarnegeri Village, Natar District. The fruit assistance was received by the Chairman of the Committee, Ust. As’ad Muzammil, Thursday (8/2/24).
This activity is also an event for the national gathering of the extended family of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Student Association (IKPPD) of South Lampung Regency.
The event was attended by the Secretary (Sekda) of South Lampung Regency Mr. Thamrin. On that occasion, he wished Darussalam Islamic Boarding School and the board of directors and invited guests a happy birthday. Mr Thamrin said that, in its half century, the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School has made extraordinary contributions to the development of education in South Lampung Regency.
“Hopefully at the age of 50, the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School will be even more advanced and will continue to produce quality graduates who are always optimistic who will bring change and progress to the region, especially South Lampung,” said Mr Thamrin.
Apart from that, on this birthday there will be a National Gathering and National Istighosah as well as Sumtudduror prayers and several activities will also be held at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School celebration event which will be held for four days from 7-10 February 2024, such as tree planting, a speech competition between Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level students, nasyid competition, mass circumcision, and MSME bazaar.
The Mass Circumcision held at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Office Building had a fantastic number of participants, namely 60 participants. This Mass Circumcision Activity was Opened by the Leader of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, KH. Sabki Ali was accompanied by the Chairman of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Student Alumni Association, Zahral Mutzaini.
“Thank God, the Mass Circumcision Activity in Commemoration of Darussalam’s 50th Birthday received enthusiasm from residents around the cottage with a total of 60 participants,” said KH.Sabki Ali.
In the report of the Chairman of the 50th Harlah Committee of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, As’ad Muzammil, said that mass circumcision is a form of social service for the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School and Alumni with the hope of reviving the glory of the beloved Darussalam Islamic Boarding School.
“After this Mass Circumcision, tomorrow there will be a National Gathering with the Regent of South Lampung and in the evening the National Istighosah and Sholawat with Habib Umar bin Muhdor Alhaddad as the peak event which will be held on February 9 2024 in the Islamic boarding school yard. “Later, we will be joined by alumni and students who have lived in Darussalam, starting from the first class up to the class of 2023,” explained Ustadz Zahral.
