PT Great Giant Pineapple became one of six recipients of the global award for Deloitte’s Best Managed Companies 2022 on Friday, July 28, 2022. This year marks the second year that PT GGP has achieved this achievement in a row.

The award program implements an evaluation process to assess the quality of business management in various areas, including strategy, skills and innovation, culture and commitment, and governance and finance.

The six companies include PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk, PT Great Giant Pineapple, PT Indesso Primatama, PT Industri Jamu Dan Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk, PT Mowilex Indonesia, and PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk.

These companies are at the forefront of their industry and have demonstrated creativity and innovation, said Claudia Lauw, CEO of Deloitte Indonesia.
“Especially over the last few years, we give our appreciation to the winners of the Best Managed Companies Indonesia 2022,” he continued through an official statement received in Jakarta, Friday.

This award program is launched in Indonesia in 2021, the award evaluation is based on the observed practice for more than 25 years from the global award program which has been launched in 48 countries around the world.

Seeing the six award winners, Deloitte Private Leader, Roy Tedja, said he was impressed with the way these companies faced challenges and tested operational strategies and management.

“They are eager to learn from other private companies that have succeeded and have now joined the elite community of Best Managed Companies in Indonesia and 48 countries in the world,” he added.

In this programme, participants go through a rigorous and independent process in which their management skills and practices are evaluated. Their business and operating strategies are analyzed and compared against an evaluation framework that has been applied to a community of 1200 best-managed private companies worldwide.
