Great Giant Foods (GGF) is participating in the 5th World Food Safety Day (HKPD) which will be held by the National Food Agency (Bapanas) as the Central Food Safety Competent Authority (OKKPP) at the IPB International Convention Center on Tuesday (7 /7).

GGF supports HKPD activities by sending quality Sunpride fresh fruit products produced from its own garden in Terbanggi Besar, Central Lampung in the form of Orange Jackfruit, Cavendish Banana, White Crystal Guava, Avocado, Papaya and Pandan Wangi Coconut.

Delivery of Sunpride fresh fruit products is carried out through the Lampung Province Food Security, Food Crops and Horticulture Service as support for exhibition material for registered and certified fresh food products from plants which will be exhibited on the peak day of HKPD implementation.

“In addition to the Food Safety Seminar, HKPD also held a fruit exhibition. “For this reason, the Lampung Province OKKPD requested support from Great Giant Foods in the form of registered and certified fruit products to display this activity,” said Head of Lampung Province UPTD BPMKP Vieke Sandranita.

The HKPD warning is a momentum to strengthen collective awareness of the importance of food safety for human health. This year’s World Food Safety Day commemoration has the theme “Food Standards Save Lives”. “Lampung Province is certainly proud to be able to display quality local fruit that grows on the land of Sai Bumi Ruwa Jurai,” he said.
