Panen Raya Nusantara 2022 is held by the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs as a kick-off event for the Indonesian G20 Presidency, which will culminate in November 2022. The event which was held at Banteng Field Park, Jakarta, Wednesday 22 June 2022, brought the theme “Indonesian Food for a Better World”.

One of the series of events enjoyed at Panen Raya Nusantara 2022 is the procession of the harvest mountains that surrounds the location. The harvest mountains were brought by business actors in the food and agribusiness sectors.

As one of the participants who represented Indonesia’s leading export products, Sunpride was present carrying mountains of fruit filled with favorite products such as Cavendish Banana, Honi Pineapple, and California Papaya, surrounding the garden to welcome the distinguished guests.

“The issue of food security is very important. We must really concentrate on the availability of domestic food. So the key is only three things, namely securing the supply side, food diversification, and efficiency,” said Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto when delivering his remarks at the Kick Off Events event with the sub-theme “Nusantara Food” at Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta, Wednesday (22 /6/2022).

Support for food and agribusiness sector activities will involve more levels of society, ranging from farmers as producers, BUMN, MSMEs, exporters, market players, as well as related Ministries/Institutions both at the center and in the regions.
“We really hope that through the support of this activity, it can be a momentum for the birth of various technological innovations, cooperation, investment opportunities, and export markets for the Indonesian food and agribusiness sector,” said Deputy for Food and Agribusiness Coordination, Musdhalifah Machmud.
