Sunpride Marks 28th Anniversary with “Sharing Energy for the Country” Initiative

Cilacap, December 2, 2021 – PT Sewu Segar Nusantara (SSN), the company behind the Sunpride brand, is celebrating its 28th anniversary on December 7 with a series of meaningful initiatives. Carrying the theme “Sharing Energy for the Country”, Sunpride continues to uphold its commitment to contribute positively to the community through sustainable activities that bring real impact, particularly in Madura Village, Wanareja District, Cilacap Regency.

The celebration began with an initiative to support the welfare of local farmers, including free medical check-ups. Beyond being a gesture of care, this preventive program also helps maintain the health and productivity of farmers — a vital pillar of the local economy.

Cindyanto Kristian, CEO of PT SSN, emphasized:

Through this anniversary, we designed a series of activities as an opportunity to shape a better future together.”

In line with its commitment to sustainable agriculture, Sunpride also distributed agricultural equipment such as tractors and spray tools, and introduced Liquid Organic Biofertilizer (LOB) through a partnership with PT Inbio Tani Nusantara (ITN). This program includes demo plots that promote environmentally friendly and sustainable farming practices. LOB itself helps increase crop yields, reduce chemical fertilizer use, and improve soil health.

Beyond agriculture, Sunpride also focused on education, distributing 500 school bags to students at elementary schools, Islamic boarding schools, and early childhood education centers (PAUD) in Madura Village. This initiative reflects Sunpride’s belief that investing in education is a long-term effort to shape a brighter future, aligned with the brand’s 28-year commitment to providing positive nutrition.
