Jakarta, July 16, 2021 – Sunpride once again strengthened its position as Indonesia’s leading fruit brand after winning the Indonesia Original Brand (IOB) 2021 award in the “Best Branded Fruit” category. This marks the fourth time Sunpride has received this recognition, following previous wins in 2016, 2017, and 2020.
The award was based on a survey conducted by Business Digest Research in collaboration with SWA Magazine, and the announcement was made during an online ceremony broadcasted via SwaMediaInc YouTube Channel.
The survey assessed original Indonesian brands that have continued to demonstrate strong performance, even amid the challenges of the pandemic. Using the Multistage Random Sampling technique, data was collected from approximately 5,000 respondents across six major cities — Medan, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, and Makassar — during the period of March to April 2021, covering around 110 product categories.
