PT Great Giant Pineapple (GGP) received a visit from the Head of the Agricultural Quarantine Agency on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Terbanggi Besar, Lampung. PT GGP is one of the companies appreciated by the government through the visit of the Head of the Agricultural Quarantine Agency for having contributed as expected by the Indonesian government.

The Head of the Agricultural Quarantine Agency said that the Government of Indonesia gave an extraordinary response to the work of companies that have a major contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP), absorbs labor, and provide benefits for good human resource management.

During a visit to PT GGP, the Agricultural Quarantine Agency hoped that in the future large companies would be able to provide opportunities for the community in the form of partnerships. So that it can be sustainable to meet the needs of the raw materials needed and open up business fields for the surrounding community to improve the welfare of the community.

The Director of Corporate Affairs of PT GGP, Mr. Welly Sugiono, was also present to accompany the working visit. He explained that the arrival of the Head of the Quarantine Agency at GGP was intended to see firsthand the existing facilities and several other facilities that could be developed as needed.

At the end of the activity, the group had the opportunity to review the canned pineapple production process, pineapple fruit harvesting activities, cattle fattening business, and dairy cattle business that has been integrated in PT GGP.
