Sunpride Meets Nutritional Intake During JFW 2022

The sheer activity of the models during Jakarta Fashion Week 2022 makes them have to maintain their immunity. In addition to exercising regularly and getting enough rest, they should also eat foods rich in nutrients and vitamins, such as fruits. Especially during this pandemic, nutrition is very important to maintain the immune system to avoid infection with various diseases.

Therefore, as a form of support for the importance of maintaining immunity, Sunpride became one of the supporting partners at the Jakarta Fashion Week 2022. Everyone involved in this event received fruit intake provided by Sunpride, namely Cavendish banana, guava crystal, and also field oranges. These fruits are provided around the clock, from breakfast until the afternoon to help nourish the models in the midst of busy activities during Jakarta Fashion Week 2022.

The three fruits are not only delicious, but also contain the nutrients needed by the body, including for the models involved in the Jakarta Fashion Week event. Cavendish bananas not only contain carbohydrates which are a source of energy to carry out activities, but also contain other beneficial nutrients, such as potassium. While Sunpride’s guava crystal contains 30 times the iron, 50 times the calcium, and 3 times the vitamin C more than apples.

If consumed regularly, it can help the body become stronger against infections and free radicals that are harmful to the body. This fruit is also special because it is sweet, crunchy, and almost seedless. And last but not least, Medan oranges from Sunpride are also a favorite of models and are highly nutritious.

Not only sweet, this orange also contains high levels of vitamins C and A. Not to forget, Sunpride’s fruits, especially Cavendish bananas, guava crystal and honi pineapples come from the only plantation in Indonesia that has been certified Global Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). The GAP certificate guarantees the production process from the planting stage to harvest time. So that Sunpride fruits are safe for consumption, free from pesticide residues and other harmful chemicals.

PT GGL, IPB, and Central Lampung Regional Government Socialize the SPR Program

PT Great Giant Livestock (GGL) and the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) together with the Central Lampung Regional Government conducted a socialization of the People’s Animal Husbandry School (SPR). The socialization is in the areas of increasing the capacity of breeders, utilizing science and technology, and implementing collective business.

Prof. Dr. Agik Suprayogi as the initiator of the activity from IPB University said that SPR is a research-based learning and counseling center. The principle of social capital can continue to be developed and can be a solution to problems, both in the field of natural resources and relations between groups.

The socialization activity of the SPR program was carried out by PT GGL together with IPB University in the Limousine Cattle Breeders group of Kampung Astomulyo Punggur which is a partner of PT GGL. It is hoped that this SPR can be a forum for farmer groups to increase knowledge so that in the future there will be more and more independent cattle breeders in Central Lampung.

In this case, IPB University as the initiator as well as resource person explained regarding the Katuk Depolarization innovation as cattle feed which is very beneficial for livestock health and productivity. “This innovation must be popularized to farmers. Because Indonesia, with its rich biodiversity, has enormous potential to provide natural medicine for livestock, one of which is the katuk plant,” said Agik Suprayogi.

The distribution of cattle in Indonesia is around 18 million, while the need for Indonesia is above 26 million. For this reason, it is necessary to have an SPR supported by PT GGL and the Central Lampung Regional Government. So that the farmer’s human resource empowerment program can be improved.

Head of the Dairy Cattle Division of PT GGL Yuliantoni Queen conveyed that the company is grateful to IPB for being willing to cooperate. Among them are through the development of SPR, providing enlightenment, increasing the capacity of farmers through SPR which is supported by the local government. “We also intend to contribute to the development of food security, especially beef and milk,” concluded Yuliantoni.
